The Sharkestra is a 9 piece group comprising of 4 rhythm section, 4 front line and 1 vocalist.

Using very little written music, the band base their performances on concepts found in rock and modern dance music as well as the vocabulary associated with contemporary classical and improvised music.

Often, the music is conducted, but the specific details of the player's interpretation are their own. Because of this, no two Sharkestra performances are the same.
